"Oh, what a tangled web we weave...when first we practice to deceive." -Walter Scott
Want a good way to deceive your picky eaters (kids and grown-ups alike) into eating something nutritional during this otherwise sweet filled holiday?
Try this recipe from My Symphony Seasonings using the fiesta seasoning.
Ingredients:
1 Can Organic Black Beans-rinsed & drained
1/2 Cup of your favorite Salsa
1 1/2 teaspoons My Symphony Seasonings' fiesta
sour cream
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Spoon onto a flat dish. To make the web effect spoon a small amount of sour cream into a plastic storage bag, cut off a very small piece of the corner and squeeze out 3 concentric circles. Next with a toothpick or knife, start in the center and draw a line from the middle to the outside of the plate. Do this all the way around the dip to create the spider web pattern. Serve with veggies slices like zucchini and carrots or dried bananas/plantains or chips.
